Hello

I have a 2017 Accord Sport Special Edition. 100% stock. I was looking for ways to give it a little more ummppphh. The 4 banger isn't exactly a race motor I know. Not looking for a race car, just a little more passing power. I was told by a Tech at my dealership try Evans Tuning in Pa. if i want it done correctly.

Honda has done a very good job of extracting power across the RPM range of your engine; you may be able to get a tune to say, borrow some mid range power and add it to the top end, but really, how much time do you spend with the tachometer up near red line?

Gotta admit that my acceleration joys come via motorcycles - and that my cars are are more comfort, distance and transport vehicles.

But,for your new Honda, look at the stock HP rating and the vehicle weight and figure if you can up the HP enough to make a difference in the HP/weight ratio.

 

Love the car all around. Just wish it had a little more HP . But I understand its not a race car or something built for speed
