They should. Reset it and test it. JK!
But they should attempt to deploy no matter what. |

RE: If i clear SRS light
what error code do you get ? (using the 2 pin connector under the glove box)
I have a 5-2 code and i couldn't get rid of the srs light yet, it seems i'm gonna need a new srs unit... I hope you will be more lucky than me |
RE: If i clear SRS light
how did you figure your error code? did you check it with a device? i may do so before attempting the fix

RE: If i clear SRS light
ORIGINAL: blackex19 how did you figure your error code? did you check it with a device? i may do so before attempting the fix You will be using the smallest blue connector, which has 2 pins, do not use the other ones as you can damage your ecu or ABS... Using a paper clip or small wire, short the blue 2 pin connector, then turn your ignition key to the II position (do not start the car) Normally your srs light should come on for 6 seconds, then it will start to blink. There should be some long blinks followed by short ones (example 4 long blinks followed by 3 short one means error 4-3) It is important to know that each code will repeat three times and then move on to the next code. You can get as much as 3 DTC codes. SRS: 1-1 Open in the Driver’s Airbag Inflator 1-2 Increased Resistance in Driver’s Airbag Inflator 1-3 Short to Another Wire in Driver’s Airbag Inflator or Decreased Resistance 1-4 Short to Power in Driver’s Airbag Inflator 1-5 Short to Ground in Driver’s Airbag Inflator 2-1 Open in the Passenger’s Airbag Inflator 2-2 Increased Resistance in Passenger’s Airbag Inflator 2-3 Short to Another Wire in Passenger’s Airbag Inflator or Decreased Resistance 2-4 Short to Power in Passenger’s Airbag Inflator 2-5 Short to Ground in Passenger’s Airbag Inflator 3-1 Open in Driver’s Seat Belt Tensioner 3-2 Increased Resistance in Driver’s Seat Belt Tensioner 3-3 Short to Another Wire in Driver’s Seat Belt Tensioner or Decreased Resistance 3-4 Short to Power in Driver’s Seat Belt Tensioner 3-5 Short to Ground in Driver’s Seat Belt Tensioner 4-1 Open in Passenger’s Seat Belt Tensioner 4-2 Increased Resistance in Passenger’s Seat Belt Tensioner 4-3 Short to Another Wire in Passenger’s Seat Belt Tensioner or Decreased Resistance 4-4 Short to Power in Passenger’s Seat Belt Tensioner 4-5 Short to Ground in Passenger’s Seat Belt Tensioner 5-1 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 5-2 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 5-3 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 5-4 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 5-5 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 6-1 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 6-2 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 6-3 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 6-4 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 7-1 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 7-2 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 7-3 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 8-1 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 8-2 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 8-3 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 8-4 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 8-5 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 8-6 Internal Failure of the SRS unit 9-1 Faulty SRS Indicator Circuit or Faulty SRS Power Supply 9-2 Faulty SRS Power Supply 10-1 SRS Replacement Code Good luck |
RE: If i clear SRS light
too many wires, too many things in the way, can't do this.
