Interior accessory lights not working!
 

Hey guys,

I got an 18 accord sport 1.5T and recently the lights of my accessories like my climate control, shift selector letters, cubby for my phone, etc go out completely. No matter what I did it didn’t seem to come on. I adjusted the dial of the lights but nothing worked. They function fine and all of the features work like usual just no lights at all!

As you guys can see, no lights on whatsoever except a few.
I attached a photo of what I’m taking about as well.

FYI, I have an aftermarket stereo installed, and a shock sensor. The battery is a diehard platinum AGM.

Was any work done on the car right before this happened?

I don't have a wiring diagram for a 2018, so vehicle specific information will be tough for me. I don't suspect a bad battery, because it has enough voltage to start the vehicle, so it should run all the lights. It can't hurt to test the battery and alternator just to make sure you have adequate voltage.

Looking at a 2010 accord, there is a fuse for hvac illumination, but I have no clue if the 2018 has the same fuse. If you have a test light, you can run through the fuses quickly to see if you have a blown fuse.

Check under-hood Fuse A6 (30A).
