My car has jerking when i was stop at red lights. it even jerks while i was driving like esp on the highway when I wanted to give the car more gas.... soon after that i was having an engine misfire, so i changed the spark plugs and the misfire and the jerking both went away for a few days. The jerking how ever came back, and I went to the tranny shop which rebuilt my tranny, and they told me it was the lockup control solenoid that needed to be changed. So i picked on up (had a different shaped screen then original) and had the tranny guy install it. The jerking came back and it jerks alot now while im driving. maybe its because the solenoid has a different screen? Also i havent had a tune up ina while now, and I was thinking that could be one of the problems? I am ready and would like anyone to help me. Thanks in advance

 

Maybe the jerking was engine mounts coming apart? That might explain why the other repairs didn't really fix it.
