Its stuck

Does anyone know what to do with an odometer when its stuck?? I have a 96 accord lx 4cyl sedan and my odometer is stuck at 246299...

Any help is appreciated

you will wind up replacing it in all likelyhood.
Most states will issue you a door jamb sticker to legally document the odometer descrepancy.

Will i have to replace the whole instrument cluster???? And if thats the case, how simple is it to install and to adjust the new cluster odometer to read the current mileage????

Can you change cluster without completely removing the steering wheel ???

The steering wheel doesn't need to be removed. The center console, the bezel that covers the radio, the heater vents/controls, then the gauge cluster.

It isn't too bad. Download 94 shop manual from online manuals thread in the DIY section. It will give you detailed instructions.

You can buy a new speedometer, get one from a junkyard, or mail your speedometer to get repaired.

I'm waiting for the cluster to come in. I will download manual. Thank you!!
