Just had my error code assessed, but I need help with the part names

Hi all, I had a p1456 error code, and an EVAP leak. I had a smoke test done today and was told (it was by the rear of the car) that I need a new canister and a bypass shut valve, or something like that. I was told I need both the canister (and whatever else it was) which are sold seperately.

I'm not even sure what this system is called, so is there a diagram or something I can look at to pick it out exactly? I was told that I can only get the parts from Honda. I'd just like to learn a little more about the job before it's done on Monday.

Also, this leak seemed to be vapor rather than gas itself, does this negatively affect fuel consumption?

Thanks in advance

#6 is the EVAP canister. It's mounted under the car, below the left-rear seat. There's a couple solenoid valves down there, but the vent-shut valve (#8) is a common failure.
