hey guys, just wondering if you can put the keyless entry in a LX model from an EX model? ...or they have them in the LX model's... anywho i dont have it and i want it, plus remote. and does it do the trunk as well and do i need anything special at all. I really want this, i hate using the key. i have powerlocks if it helps.

 

I would imagine you would have to swap the actuators and some other stuff. Possible wiring/ecu issues?
Don't they make aftermarket kits for this that have everything included and instructions?
Other than that, you would simply have to find a wrecked EX at a junkyard or something and go parts fishing (or that's what i would do anyway)

 

Ya I wanted the factory one so I can get the factory remote. Just looks nicer. So what would I need if I were to find a wrecked ex model what do I take from it. Do I take the trunk motor...?
