I know this: CV joint, front wheel bearing assembly. Pretty common. I had to have mine done, I have a 95. The front bearing assembly/brake rotors don't just fall off, you have to have a slide hammer, impact tools. I took mine to a shop and $$$$. Usually "shadetree mechanics" will just pound them off with a big hammer. Not good.

Just the CV joint.

CV & axle seals!

DO NOT replace any parts till properly diagnosed, if it does turn out that you need a new axle , you DO NOT need to replace the axle seal unless it is leaking now ...
sounds like a bad outer cv joint to me ..

Look at the joints and see which boot is torn and that is usually the bad one. I have not liked the aftermarket rebuilt axles I have installed. They always seem to be a pain to get to seat properly in the trans without work on the retaining clip or cleaning up the spline. At one time people would just replace the joint with a new one, but I think it was more money than a rebuilt axle. I also remember some of Honda’s axle doesn’t come apart to easy or at all. Let us know what you find.
