Leaky injectors. What now?

Hey how's it going. I have owned my accord for almost a year and ever since I got it there has always been what appears to be gas on the top of the intake manifold. It always seems fresh. Does anyone know if you can find new seals for the injectors or am I stuck with it? Here's a pic.

(I have a 1986 Honda Accord LXI Hatchback.)

RE: Leaky injectors. What now?

Both the upper and lower orings are readily available. The lower orings (injector-manifold seal) are usually quite durable. The upper orings do dry out and begin to leak. I had to replace mine when I R&R'd my EGR manifold. I found kits but they wanted $7/cvlinder for both upper and lower oring. I only wanted upper, so I matched the orings from my AC oring kit. Wasn't a perfect match but w/ some oring lube such as nylog or petroleum jelly, the sealed fine.

good luck

The injectors themselves could be leaking also. O-rings are more likely though.

I'll look into replacing the seals. It is much cheaper. Thanks for the info.
