Any idea how to remove the plastic license plate anchors on my 2017 Honda Accord? Plastic license plate screw (yes, I will never use plastics screws again) broke off and I cannot get it out.

I have no idea how to remove the plastic anchors? I tried pliers to squeeze the ends together and push thru but it's not moving?

 

My guess is that you'll need to remove the remaining black plastic screw down the center. That should relieve the pressure on the white plastic anchor, then you can pop off the anchor.
