Lost power
 

1994 honda accord ex v tech automatic trans.........loses power shifting from second to third. Green bracket around d4 is not blinking. Tuned up, changed air filter, checked trans fluid. Was driving fine, parked for two days and now this. Has new distributor and timing belt and water pump done 12,000 miles ago. What could be wrong?

Short the service connector under the glove box to check for both engine and transmission codes by counting the flashes of the CEL and D4 light respectively. See common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum for instructions.

Post any codes you find on here. Let us know what code(s) you get from each light, because the D4 codes are different than the CEL codes.

Flashes 1, 8, 13.

That code means:
Repair the torque control solenoid wiring or Replace the torque control solenoid

Before replacing any parts, can you tell us which light gave each code?
