Default Maintence required light on the dashboard

I changed the oil in my accord and now want to shut off the maintenance required light on the dash. How do I do it?

there should be a reset button somewhere...i know with some of the GM products you have to pump the gas pedal 5 times in 10 seconds with the key in the on position, with it not running..some olds' have a reset button inside...does your manual say anything?

Look for a little key slot in your gauge display. Mine isnt digital by you just stick they key in it and it resets it.

How to Reset
Push and hold the trip/reset button, turn the ignition switch ON (II), and continue to hold the button for more than 10 seconds

I owe the information to another board but the main idea is still intact, help one another.

...i'm actually wondering - why would you think that maintanance required is related to an oil change??? They would have just putten the Oil change required if so?? not??

Whats the mileage? what kind of car?
