Maintence required light on the dashboard
I changed the oil in my accord and now want to shut off the maintenance required light on the dash. How do I do it?

RE: Maintence required light on the dashboard
there should be a reset button somewhere...i know with some of the GM products you have to pump the gas pedal 5 times in 10 seconds with the key in the on position, with it not running..some olds' have a reset button inside...does your manual say anything?

Look for a little key slot in your gauge display. Mine isnt digital by you just stick they key in it and it resets it.

I owe the information to another board but the main idea is still intact, help one another. |
RE: Maintence required light on the dashboard
...i'm actually wondering - why would you think that maintanance required is related to an oil change??? They would have just putten the Oil change required if so?? not??
