manual 93 accord Weird acting rpm gage

Good Evening everyone,
I have had my honda for 4 years now, i have recon that at times when i start the car the rpm needles fluctuates up and down when idling. Its amusing and strange that when no ones is in this vehicle at idling the car revs up as if someone is actually revving the engine. What could possible be the cuase of this? Also while this is happening and your driving the vechile and you bearly take your foot of the clutch it tends to move by its self as its an automatic car. Also when its doing the self reving as you sink the clutch to change the gear, i notice that the rpm increases. I have to becareful when I change gears as if i dont easily and slowly lift my foot off the clutch the car will jump and increase in speed. thanx for your respones.

Maybe a couple different things?

Look for a post by me in the DIY secion about setting the BASE idle. There's things to do first, like bleeding air out of the cooling system, etc.

Then the behavior of your clutch makes me suspect you have air in the clutch hydraulic line. Bleed the clutch.
