Master cylinder bolt stuck and rounded.
hey there, i was hoping to get some help with an issue i'm having.
I drive a 96 Accord EX 2.2 with ABS. I am trying to replace the brake master cylinder but ended up ruining one of the the brake line bolts (yes i was using a flare wrench & PB Blaster). I even ruined a pair of vice grips trying to get it to turn. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm thinking i might replace that line since it only goes from the master cylinder to the ABS module. I would want to get it used because I dont want to buy a bend kit. Should I do that or can i just replace the bolt and keep the line? |
If you can remove the ABS connection, then cut the line and replace the line w/ new or used line to new master cylinder.
You can't replace the nut unless you cut the line. good luck |
