Mind Boggling about Brake lights

Hello everybody, i have a 96 accord that has 146000 miles, and, one of the problems is that the brake light does not light when i press on the brake pedal. First thing i checked was the fuse boxes (both) of them and all the fuses we're fine non damaged. This is the first for me. a item that is damage with a good fuse. i looked at the bulb and it look like a surge hit it, but once again the fuse is fine, if you have any other checks or opinion about something please reply back thank you

are your interior lights still working?

Tail lights and brake lights are different. When you turn on the headlights, do the tail lights light up? Or, when you press the brake do they get brighter? Or, they do nothing at all?

I think you are trying to say that no matter if the headlights are on or off, when you press the brake pedal the lights do not come on or get brighter. There is a switch on the brake pedal lever itself that turns those lights on, it's probably bad.
