moon roof will not close

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX, auto, 4 cyl. My daughter got in the car today in 100 deg. heat and opened the moon roof to let the heat out. It wont close now. When mashing the the button to open you can hear the motor but when mashing the close button nothing happens. No sound, no movement. Help please! Could it be a fuse or relay or something like it? Btw, my SRS light stays on too and I just noticed my cruise no longer works

Check the fuse as stated in the attached pic. (from the owner's manual) first, if it doesn't still doesn't close than use the wrench to close it.

Check number 7 fuse in the driver's side fuse box and the number 1 fuse in the passenger side fuse box.

If it's not the fuse, it may be one of the moon roof relays (some Hondas have an open relay and a close relay). I have to see if I can find info. regarding your year's circuit.

The moon roof Open relay and the Close relay are both located under the driver's side dash. I believe they are identical type relays. Switch the Open relay with the Close relay and see if it closes. If it is not the fuse or relays, then it may be a switch or wiring problem.

See attached pic. for approximate location.

Thank you so much for posting your suggestions. I wasn't able to check the relays as the diagram does not match my car. I was afraid to try switching things around. I was able to crank it manually at least for now. I didn't know what that wrench was for. I didn't have the manual anymore. If I take a picture of the relays and post it would you know which ones they were?

You may have to take off the plastic kick panel on the left side to expose the relays. But, if you took pictures, I will surely try to help. :)
