Default Is my 2011 Accord a writeoff ?

Was rear ended by a pickup. Hit so hard I was pushed into a car ahead of me. Doors functional to get out of vehicle other than lots of sharp glass (shards and rectangular pieces).

My concern is that the insurance company will try and repair rather than write it off. My coverage is for a new replacement vehicle. Scared of driving the repaired vehicle and then trying to sell it in a few years without getting ripped off due to the damage sustained.

I know it's hard to tell but does this look repairable ?

If you begin to develop a stiff neck get to a doctor right away for it will develop into whiplash. Been there with a rear end and it took 13 years to recover.

Thanks for the quick replies. I am really hoping that it will be written off but as we all know the insurance companies are in the business of taking our money, not paying it out. Their appraiser took a look at it today I am told so I hope to hear from them tomorrow as to what the decision is. I am PRAYING that they DO NOT REPAIR this vehicle. Have not been able to sleep for 4 days thinking about this !!

one thing Honda/Acura does not recommend is sectioning of body panels (not to mention the whole rear half of the car) those panels (quarter) would have to be sectioned to be repaired. if the adjuster authorizes a repair, find out what the shop is going to do before any work...if they even mutter the word "section" get on the phone with the adjuster and start raising He!!. if you need collision bulletins related to what i just stated, let me know. probably find them on the internet as well.
