Need Help with 92 accord power loss?????

I have a 1992 Honda accord with 95000 miles on it and just passed smog today in California. The problem is the car has doesnt have full power, i had the catalytic converter changed and that helped alot but it still does not get full power. Took it up to the shop and they tested the check engine light to see what codes came up and it did nothing besides come, which according to the chilton book means that the ecu is bad. Went and got another ecu from the junkyard but the car is still doing the same thing??? please help if you can thanks. The car starts up fine, i changed the spark plugs and wires cap and rotor, and had timing belt done

Here are a few things that you might want to have checked about you problem.
Your fuel filter could be clogged and you might have bad gas in the tank.

Also your brakes could be binding which would make it feel like loss of power also.

You could also have low or uneven cylinder compression.

See what you can find out about those for now... :)

Does the check engine light ever turn on while you are driving?

FYI: When you short that service connector, the check engine light will stay on if there are no codes stored on the engine computer.
