Need help what is this

It appears it is the transmission vent breather cap (# 4) in diagram. The F (front) arrow means to install it that way toward the front of the car.

you can see it has a very small hole in it and I shined a flashlight on the inside so you can see how that looks thought that might be important.

Locate the automatic transmission dipstick (see attached pic.), the vent should be just to the left of it.

Got it back on thanks so much just had to remove battery to get my hands in there to it.
