Need the name of a part for accord 2000
 

Hello, I needthe name of a car part. I've tried looking online for parts but they dont seem to sell this part anywhere.

Car: 2000 honda accord ex v6 4door

The part I am looking for is the plastic covering underneath the car. The exact part I'm looking for is the one which is connected to the bottom of the front bumper and covers the entire bottom of the car. It is plastic I know and not sure if it is really attached to any other part of the car.

The one I have, I used screws and they have rusted. Now I can't even remove my bumper because it is attach to the bottom car covering, which is attached to something else. I hope my description makes some sense.

So anyone know where I can find a replacement or what's it called?

it is called the frt splash shield ..as far as i know it is only a dealer part,,
if you do get it you ned to buy the clips as well..

if its just the screws that are bad why not just buy new screws? be a whole lot cheaper

Well... the screws are bad and there doesn't seem to be a way for me to remove it. Maybe I will try harder or try another method.. like cut a whole around the screw or something so I can remove it.

That is the part above. WOW... how do I even get in there to replace that part? Need to remove the wheel and wheel well ?

no need to remove wheels or fender liners ,,if it is the frt spalsh shield.. just need to remove all the clips , you need to raise the car up and look underneath .

If you have enough room, I'd try loading a hacksaw with the blade sideways and cut the bolt. If you get a new part, you still have to get the old one off. I think the shield is made of ABS plastic which isn't that easy to cut.
