Neo Wedge Size or Numbers
Hey everyone,
I'm going to replace all my dash lights in my '06 V6. I thought about going the LED route, but it turns out it may be easier to just get colored incands. Not sure how the older accords did it, but the 06 has tiny white lights with little colored condoms on (sorry, that was the quickest way to explain). Any one out there know the number for the neo wedge assembly, I guess there are a few sizes, or where i can find the miny condoms. I'd try asking at walgreens, but im afraid they'd laugh at me. I'd like to do all the buttons (i.e. fog light, sunroof, AC, CD, buttons) and perhaps change the color of the main gauge. I know there are some LED kits out there that you can solder together, but i dont mind paying the $2.00 for a regular light. Also, not really sure what the advantage would be to replacing all those tiny bulbs with LED's. Any help will be rewarded with my eternal thanks, and if i see you in the street i'd give you $1.00. Sorry for the book of a post. PS... Autozone laughed at me too when I asked for the mini condoms. |
RE: Neo Wedge Size or Numbers
Are you talking about L.E.D.'s like this:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html This is the closest that comes to replacing 'normal' lights. You just have to figure out what you have and what will replace it. Hope this helps, StevePhy |

RE: Neo Wedge Size or Numbers
You have the same type of dash lights I do ftgibson....the only place I was able to find them was the dealer. You might want to contact www.superbrightleds.com and see it they have any suggestions on what you should use. They are one of the best led sites on the net. Maybe there are other out there with your dilemma.
