Hey Guys my name is Emilio new member here, Honda owner first car was a civic which i loved until the transmission gave up on me and the motor had a knock, so I went on to buy my current car a 2003 Honda Accord coupe ex. v4. main reason why i signed up to the forum is because there is certain things i like to do on my cars and not go and pay a dealership for im not the most when working on cars but i like to learn and im not completely oblivious. The current problem i have is that my a/c is out i would like some input on what it could be, i dont know where to post this so i introduce my self and ask for your help! thanks!

Welcome aboard. Just a helpful hint 4cylinders are known as I4s not V4s as the cylinders are inline and not in a v shape as with v6 and v8 engines.

As for the AC it could be something as simple as a recharge of the refrigerant.

Thanks for making me aware of that! I dont think its that, i work in a lexus dealership and my buddy hooked it up to the machine and recharged it also looked for leaks and didnt find any, the compressor is not turning on when i turn the a/c inside, and i switch all the relays with some of another car that i new did work and nothing! i just dont want to buy a new compressor and then to find out mine was actually good.

Can you test the readings on the pressure switch.....the switch (continuity) and the wires (voltage).
