RE: No AC. Fan blower only runs on high
Before anyone else will help you, What year and model of accord?
Fan only working on high is symptom of blower motor resistor. Did the A/C stop working when the fan problems occured? Give us some more details about when problems occured. |
RE: No AC. Fan blower only runs on high
Sorry for the short email. I heard there were problems with the site.
1999 Accord V6 with climate control. Fan does not blow regardless of temp setting ACstoppedat the same time. It worked great the day before during 94 degree heat. The next morning nothing. |

The site acts goofy sometimes. Hopefully the admin will get it fixed.
Your two posts conflict with each other. Does the blower fan work? |
RE: No AC. Fan blower only runs on high
Yes, I see. Sorry about that. The fan does blow but only under two conditions:
1) In Full Auto, you crank it all the way to cold and 2) In manual mode, you turn the fanspeed to high. Again, no AC even with fan blowing on high. |
RE: No AC. Fan blower only runs on high
Does the AC clutch engage? I think you have 2 problems. 1 is the blower resistor & the other is with the freon system.
|
RE: No AC. Fan blower only runs on high
bad clutch, compressor or a freon leak on the refrigerant side.
