No Power To Cigarette Lighter Socket

I have a 2004 Accord, 4 cylinder. Neither the lighter socket in front of the gearshift nor the one in the storage box has any power. I have checked every 10 amp fuse both under the hood and near the left driver side and they are all good.

First of all, can anyone tell me for absolutely sure what fuse powers these sockets?

Secondly, has anyone else had this problem and how was it solved?

Thanks for your response.

One of my main complaints with my 2003 Accord. There is no power to the power sockets when the vehicle is turned off. Check to see if there IS power while the vehicle is running.

I had to install a "hot" power outlet down alongside the right side of the console to power my GPS.

Can ANYONE simply tell me which fuse powers the cigarette lighter sockets on a 2004 Accord?

I finally remembered to look it up...

Under-hood main fuse #22 (100A) & #23 (50A). But if those were blown there's a lot more stuff that would be dead.

There's 2 circuits, first one energizes the relay.
From ignition switch to the dashboard fuse #32 (7.5A) then to the power-socket relay. That relay is in the top row, 2nd from right. Then to ground G501/601.

2nd circuit is the actual lighter power.
Hood-fusebox #15 (40A) -> dash fuse #9 (15A) -> relay -> power sockets.

(I remember when cars had simple circuits...)

Same problem in my 2004 accord. I fixed the inside 15 amp fuse but neither socket works. Would changing the other fuse(s) you mention be worth a try? Sorry, your answer was over my head. If so, could you tell me how? Thanks very much.

Check every one of the fuses I mentioned. Any one of them will take out the power socket. The high-load (100A or 50A) fuses I mentioned aren't likely becuase they would take out a lot more than just the lighter/power sockets. But it doesn't hurt to check them.

You know how to look at a fuse & see if it's blown?

Anyone ever find that the power outlet next to change tray in a 2004 Accord has no wiring plugged into it? I was changing the radio today and that silly per outlet that has never worked and the fuses seemed ok, has no flippin wires connected! I see no wiring in console to plug in either. So the wiring for the power outlet was just missed and nothing to plug in on the assembly line....oh well. Nice. Wieners. Only took me 7 years to find that.

it’s the second one from the right on the top row for cigarette lighter and 3rd from the right on the bottom row for the other power accessory in the console
the top row is a 7.5 and bottom is 15
