Default No Spark After Engine Swap!

Lights come on in car, it turns over, but does not start.

I had a JDM F22B sohc non vtec swapped in for my F22B2. They took all the accessories off the old engine, it's supposed to be a direct swap.

So what should I check? Just electrical connections? I'll check the grounds too. The old engine ran, so I wouldn't think the dizzy and coil went bad in the last couple of days but I guess I will check those too.

Any other suggestions?

I would check that the blk/yel wire going to the coil has 12V. If it doesn't, then something is wrong with the ignition switch. Check the fuses just to be safe.

Is the check engine light on? I would short the service connector and see if any codes are stored.

(I am assuming that you drive a 94-97 accord since it originally had a f22b2. Put the car's info in your signature, so we know what accord you are describing.

I'll check that wire, and the fuses too. The check engine light doesn't come on.

The engine I got is the sohc non vtec, there is a dohc vtec that is also F22B, the jdm's were just stamped F22B but there are different engines.

So I checked the coil, it's good.
I'm getting voltage to the ICM, and had it tested and it's good.
Checked my grounds.
And still no spark.

Any other ideas? A bad connection to the ECM maybe? and would I get voltage to the ICM if there was a bad ground? Thanks for any help.

You still haven't told us the year/model of your car. And you didn't tell us the year/model that the donor engine came from.

Sorry, it's a 94 accord lx, original engine was F22B2, the new engine is a jdm F22B sohc non vtec, same as the F22B2.

Ok. Is the replacement engine from a 94-95 accord or a 96-97 accord?

The reason that I ask is that the 94/95 accord is obd1 and the 96/97 is obd2. There is a difference between the distributors, O2 sensors, etc.

Got it running. It was the ground on the intake manifold. It wasn't connected. Thanks for the help.
