no start no spark
 

I have a1998 accord with a 2.2L. I put in a new distributer, new coil, new crank sensor and still no sprak I have correct voltage at coil an signals from pcm any ideas please email me or call 631 543 0206 thanks Daryl

When you replaced the distributor, do you mean the distributor cap or entire distributor? Is coil external to the distributor (it's inside some distributors)?

Have you checked that distributor ground is connected correctly (usually near the thermostat housing). This can prevent spark generation.

Any work done on vehicle recently?

I replaced the entire distributer twice just incase i check all my feeds and grounds according to my wireing dia. from alldata i'll double check that ground wire but i belive it is good i even have injector pulse. thanks

How do you know that you have no spark? What checks?

A simple test that isolates fuel or ignition is to attempt starting w/ throttle body cleaner or starter fluid sprayed into the intake. If engine starts briefly, then fuel delivery is problem and if no-start ignition is confirmed.

I would confirm fuel pressure by cracking the banjo bolt on the fuel delivery line to the fuel rail. A generous spray should occur confirming fuel pressure. A dribble suggests a fuel delivery problem.

Have you checked for 12V on the blk/yel wire at the distributor connector w/ switch in ON position? A bad ignition switch can cause no spark if this wire is not hot.

You would have to be the unluckiest fellow in the world to have two distributors that are faulty, so I'm assuming the problem lies elsewhere. Is there any reason to suspect the quality of your distributors?
