o2 sennsor question

jsu wondering if anyone knew if a faulty o2 sensor would cause surging idle

Most likely not, surging idle is usually due to a clogged FITV (only surges when cold) or IACV (surges all the time). Both are located on the back of the intake manifold. I think there's a DIY in the DIY section to clean them.
