oil light on!!

Sorry guys! My Honda Accord 94 Wagon Lx 2.2

You may want to check that the oil pressure sending unit is plugged in. It is way above the oil filter on the back of the engine. It is above the metal pipe that comes from the water pump. It has a one-wire connector going to it.

The sending unit is new, i replaced it about four months ago

Sorry, I should have read your first post again.

Why did you repair the cylinder head? Was the oil light turning on before you replaced the head gasket?

The water pump locked out, doing so it broke the timming belt, then i tried starting it on and the #1 piston bent two valves. So i took the heads to fix, i put it on and now the oil light is on

oil light on

:eek:So check it out!! My accord just died on me today. Turns out that the timing belt might had been tension to much. That's what the maching shop said. The cam sproket broke from the cam, further more the head is destroyed cause of the tension, the cams first two loabs are ruined so the whole thing is no good. They also said that the oil restrictor might be clogged that might be the reason why the oil light was on. NOW WHERE IS THE OIL RESTRICTOR LOCATED??? ANYONE? GUYS??
