Only left side brake lights work, needs some advice.

The title is wrong, but the message is correct.

I have a issue where the two brake lights dont work on the left drivers side. The high mount and both right lights work fine. I have removed the assemblies and looked at each sensor but didnt really see any problems. I was wondering if anyone knew of the part number on those so I can research the price so I can replace both.

I also have a issue with the drivers side turn signal on the bumper. I thought the bulb was bad so I went to replace it and found a nail was jammed into one of the pins to put pressure to make the connection so I removed the nail and taped it well until I get a new harness from the junk yard. Since the connection on that turn signal isn't good, could this lead to the brake light issue?

Thanks for looking, any help would be great.

yes, and have you checked the allegedly defective tail bulbs?

Bulbs are good. I got some sensors from the junk yard this afternoon. I am going to try and replace them later. I also grabbed a new harness for the bulbs as the one I have is corroded pretty good. Hopefully this will solve the issue.

If not....a bit if info on the car would help.

Year, model, # doors, ect......

I got it working after replacing the harness on the drivers side tail light and filling up the brake fluid.
