In op washer pump and intermediate wipes

So I got a 99 Honda Accord and my intermediate wipers don’t work nor does my washer pump if I put power to the pump it does turn on.... but I am stumped here

Could be the switch. Have you test the plug as you turn it on

Bigdawg51 02-16-2019 03:53 PM

Yes no power from the plug to the pump

Have you checked the fuse? If so do a power test at the fuse location.

Yes I did fuse has power and is good also replaced the multiplex unit on driver side

On the washer pump, test for voltage between the blk/yel wire and a good ground (like any bare metal or the - battery post). If you get 0V when you turn on the washer from inside the car, then you know the issue is on the power side of the circuit.

Also, check the No 7 fuse in the driver's side interior fuse box. It is a 7.5 amp fuse. Use a volt meter or a test light to see if you have power on both posts on top of the fuse. Much quicker than pulling fuses. Key will have to be in the II position to test. See video below.

It ended up being the wiper/ washer switch on the steering column. Thank you all for the help!

Actually it is not the wiper switch on the column because they washer and intermediate wipers still don’t no work

If changing the switch didn't work, then you're looking at a no power to the switch.

Where do I start with no power to the switch because the fuse is good and has power?
