oxygen sensor location on V6
 

this is a great board and now I could use some help.

on a 98 accord with a V6, I thought that the front oxygen sensor was on the exhaust manifold below # 1 at the firewall. But for the life of me, I can't see it.

Am I looking in the right spot and do I have to take off the heat shield to see it. This is bugging the heck out of me.

yea you have to remove that heat shield to get at it. there is also another on downstream after the cat too. your problem might not be the o2 though. there was someone else on here that was throwing an 02 code and when they replaced it it didnt fix the problem.

thanks lightshow and is it the front manifold or the rear mainfold at the firewall.
