Did you inspect and clean the EGR port in front of the injector base (lower intake manifold) of the engine? Refer to this thread:

is it ok to spray the intake cleaner in this part of the motor

There is only one port on the V6. Was it filled up with carbon?

The OP already created a separate post in the General Tech section. A lot of people only clean the intake manifold and may not have inspected and cleaned the EGR port in front of the injector base (lower intake manifold) of the engine. Refer to my post in his other thread:

Yes. Before that you might use a shop vac and a brush to get any large pieces out.

EDIT: I've merged the two threads together and tried to clean them up.

yes it was full or carbon i think what i did when i cleaned it he first time i didnt clean it all out the intake cleaner made it like a paste and i didnt get it all out. this time i got my neighbors air compresser and blew all that trash out so i cleared the code again now ill see if it comes back on i post later thanks for all the help these forums are awesome and allows you gain knowledge and save some money
