Passenger Door Lock Dilemma (03)

So here it is, plain and simple...

Passenger door lock will not function (electrically)
Passenger door lock CANNOT be lifted manually
Need to remove the panel to fix problem
CANNOT remove panel with the door closed

Seems like a catch 22, ANY suggestions welcomed

 :(

Bill

Also once I figure out how to get the door open,
any tips on the panel removal,
without damage to clips and fasteners?

Problem is difficult but resolvable. See attached video which provides best info I've seen.

Thank you for the video link, I was kind of thinking that route, that only the back end of the door panel would be partially removable to get at the innards.
Albeit I viewed it on my phone, it does look very informative I'll have to look at it when I get home on the computer so I can actually see what I'm looking at LOL

I go the door open tested the actuator and it is bad,
I can not figure how to get the actuator off the lock assembly,
everything is plastic and I do not want to do any damage?

Any one have any experience with these?

I did not find a procedure for actuator alone. See attached proc.

Above part on ebay may help. Looks like there are 5 screw holes.

good luck

You have to take off the protector first, which is held in place with a Philips screw.
