There is a lot of buzz about this new super cleaning oil. I have been using Mobil1 and wonder of there is any additionla benefit switching. Just how dirty does inside of a synthetic oil maintained engine get?

 

The inside of your engine won't get "dirty" with Mobil 1 Synthetic. Keep using it and changing when recommended or even sooner if your concerned. The engine will serve you fine doing this. Careful about all the hype out there.

 

Mobil 1 is good oil...if your engine is properly tuned,and the oil gets changed at regular intervals,it will be fine.There is no magic oil out there that cleans better than others,unless they add a crap load of detergents you probably dont need.
