Please Help, Engine Problem
 

Hey guys its my first time on here,
i was driving my 03 accord coupe v6 home in the snow and when i stopped it just shut off and i could hear a flickering coming from the dash. So i turned it back on and drove away, but the flickering noise kept happening. I pulled over and shut it off, when i turned it back on the check engine light turned on. I got home after it shutting off a few more times, and now the check engine light isnt on. Whats happening??

Get your battery checked out at c tire or some place.

Stop by a parts store and have them scan for codes, then post them on here. The engine computer will store the codes even if the check engine light turned off.

So i brought it to my auto parts store, apparently their computer check is very general and doesnt even work if the light goes off. But ive been driving it today and its fine, no lights or issues. Should i trust it? I really don't want to pay honda if there is nothing wrong.

Starting in 1998 there's no simple (2-wire) connector that can be jumpered.

But there IS one particular pin in the OBD-2 connecctor that can be shorted to ground to do the same thing. I don't remember which pin that is. There's a couple pins that can short the PCM & they're not fused. So it's possible to fry your computer by choosing the wrong pin.
