Problems with my 2000 Accord

Howdy all,
I have a 2000 Accord 4 cyl, 5 speed, that is starting to give me issues. I got the codes read and it's reading something about a faulty TPS sensor. basically when I accelerate it will jump and jerk, unless I take it easy and shift between 2-3000 rpms. I did a search and couldnt really find anything. I was told that the genius's at Honda did not design the F-series motor with an easy way to change out the TPS sensor or is it something that can be cleaned and correct.

Is there anyway of fixing this issue without shelling out 400 dollars for a new throttle body?

Thanks for your help

TASauto has a TPS that you can buy for ~$50. Junkyard would also be another source for the part.

The TPS looks like it is riveted in there, but they are two bolts. I used a dremel to cut a slot on mine and used a screw driver to remove the old sensor.

You will also have to adjust the sensor so the voltage is around 0.5V. You will have to backprobe the connector to do this. I found instructions using google when I did mine.
