Problems with warped front rotors

To all,

I'm new, so if this is a common thing, I haven't read up on it yet. My 2001 Accord goes through front brake rotors. The original ones gave me about 120,000 miles of good use. All of the replacements (three times now) that have come from the dealer typically last about 30-40k miles. At that point, they're warped and I say, "Hang on while we shake to a stop.." to any passengers. Very irritating.

Is Honda using cheap chinese junk for replacement parts? Is there some brand that offers a lifetime warranty?
This is a company car (free) so it's not like I'm hot-lapping the thing at the local oval track.
In fact, the great majority of my miles are interstate driving.

Thoughts?

Honda's rotors are crap (IMO) and seem like cheap metal, same as those you can get from autozone. Look into brembo blank rotors.

I've used Brembo rotors for many years (VW, Saab, HondAcura) & they're good.

So why would the dealer parts dept sell rotors that are any different than the ones that originally came on the car???

x 84 and counting on the Brembos ...... I have sport drilled on mine, but I have use their blanks on many applications and have never had a problem ...... and for $40 each, you can't go wrong!!! Also, you need good pads and you need to bed in the new parts .... this will make them last much longer. Bedding in consists of a long series of moderate braking without stopping followed by harder braking ..... again, without stopping the car. Afterward, you do some braking at different speeds and finally emergency style braking to a full stop a few times ...... may want to keep the car rolling even here to avoid hot spots on the rotors ...... look for writeups on this process, but as there are many methods, look for the one that best matches what I've described.

<edit> this will most likely consist of 30-50 bedding in stops and slow-downs

Dealers also sell different quality dealer parts, especially in the brake system.
