If no starter sound (loud click) and no starter turnover, first problem is to determine if starter is faulty or battery. Usually, it's the battery or the battery connections preventing good current flow. Clean both battery connections carefully.

If that checks OK or doesn't cause the starter to work, check the voltage at the Blk/Wht wire at the starter for 12v when keyswitch is turned to Start. If no voltage the keyswitch assy is bad and must be replaced.

Once you have the starter turning the engine over, you may have another problem; loss of fuel or spark, but starter first.

good luck

Distributor terminals are in a circle. What do you mean 1342 from right to left? Sounds like firing order is messed up.

Still, if it doesn't turn over, that's a problem with the starter which has nothing to do with firing order.
