Default Rainy day problem with my '03 Accord Lx

When you are driving through a puddle, on heavy rainy days, this car will shut off.Generally what I will do, is shift the car into neutral and crank it again before it stops, shift it back into drive, and keep on going. Sometimes it does this more frequently than others. Lately, the cars cruise control has been tripping while driving too- but it does not affect the engine running. I wonder if these problems coincide in anyway? Anyone had any similar experiences with their Honda, or have some incite on what might be going on would be a huge help, thanks!

Any damage on the front of the car? Are both fender liners still there?

I am most positive that they are. Some small damage that has been there a long time, and the only thing that might get some exposure to water is the head light is slightly broken on the top- small crack that allows moisture in. The only other damage is the fender directly above the point of the headlight. A big 'Ol Dodge Ram 2500 back up into it while parked and the damage was less than $1000.00.

Where I was/am going with this - there are a few important things running along/inside the front fenders.....air box, wire harness, ect.

So if there is damage in that area and there is an issue with water parying/splashing in those areas then yes a short can happen.

Which headlight - drivers/left or pass/right - has damage?
