Rather puzzling
I'm new here.
I tried to do a search, but it kept taking me to threads with info that was far from what I was searching for. I have a 2005 Honda Accord. The windshield wipers won't turn on. The wipers work when using windshield cleaner, and will run really fast when using my turn signals. I have to hold it in place to keep the blades wiping in the rain. The wiper blades won't turn on by themselves. This is puzzling. Could this be a fuse issue? I hope it is an easy fix. I don't have a lot of funds right now. Thanks for your replies in advance. |
This isn't a fuse issue. The electronics on the wiper/turn signal system are not simple to test with a volt meter.
A cheap scanner will only scan P codes (engine/trans codes). There are B codes that nicer scanners can detect problems. Maybe your local parts store scanner might read these codes. They usually do this as a free service and worth a shot. |
