Rear Defrost Fix

I have a 94 EX that i had the windows tinted to. Every defrost line worked before the tint, but now one does not. i bought a defrost repair kit, but am hesitant on if it will work or how it will look with the tint.

Has anyone done this or had a similar problem?

If only one defrost line is not working and you can see well out the back window, is it worth trying to fix or possibly causing more problems.

I am not sure what is involved with the repair kit, the shop that tinted the windows might know for sure though.

You have to remove the tint to repair the line... or at least cut a strip out to repair it.

Thanks - yep i will just live with it. it sucks because i knew it was going to happen. they all worked before the tint and even after they first put it on, but they had a couple bubbles that i made them fix.....well what do you know...once i had them fix it one row doesnt work. The big thing is that i don't have time to complain about it and make them fix it, plus its kind of hard to prove on a car that is 15 years old. o well, kick a stone a move on.
