Default Recommended Maintenance Schedule

Hi Guys

I need some help in terms of Recommended Maintenance Schedule for my 08' Accord

I am very new to the car...as this is my 1st car..so need some help and guidance..

suggest downloading an owners manual, or buying one on E-Bay.



Generally, for all cars ...

change engine oil / oil filter @ 3000 miles,
drain and fill auto tranny fluid every year (partial exchange, not 100%),
air filter @ 30,000,
new rad coolant @ 30,000,

that's main ones right now. best - hope it helps

Your car comes (as do all newer Honda models) with a Maintenance Minder that will "guide" you as to what services are needed. That will be triggered by your car’s computer. Google that term and you will find what the different codes mean. (Example A 1,2) Otherwise do a search and enter something like "2008 Honda Accord 45 K mile service" and you will also find some good information that way
