my old compressor is going out so i bought a used one from a guy on here (xwade01). i took the car to a shoop and guy wants to charge me 300 to take the old one off and put the new one in flush the system put in a ac dryer. is that about the right price? is all that neccessary replacing the dryer and flusing the sytem. cause i was thinking of doing it my self then have a friend of mine fill the freon. cause i dont know how to flush the system and the dryer is another 40-60 bucks.

 

If your old compresor had a case of the black death, all (ALL) that *+)* has to be cleaned out of the system.
