Remote key sound is too loud.
 

Hello, I have a 2015 Honda Accord LX CVT. The keyless door answer back makes an ear shatteringly loud noise from the horn when I lock or unlock the car using either the fob or the key. People glare at me whenever I use it. When I use the menu system to disable it, it does not work. Any suggestions? Could this be due to an updated alarm system or something?

You mention "updated alarm system"... Is there an aftermarket alarm installed? That would make it difficult for us to help without knowing exactly what alarm system was installed.
