removing ac lines
my 93 accord needs the ac aluminum lines replace, i try to remove them ,but the threats go bad on all of them , i try penetrating spray and propane torch, but they dont twist for nothing, its there a better way to remove them without the threats almost crumbling like powder, without having to buy new from the dealer? i only need it the one by the dryer, but now i need all the sections. or does anybody knows where i cab get them , i try the junk yard ,but same problem . thanks

WheelBrokerAng :) do make sure you post in the correct forums from now on...Thanks |
Propane will not get hot enough to break threads lose, but map gas usually will. Old AC lines may not be saved; I have run into them crumbling in the past.

Some places, shops-stores, make ac lines. Or at least they use to, I made my share in the day. I still see signs and such of places that do that, just another idea of something to look into.
