Reset ECU or SRS Light?

Sup guys,

I have a 06 honda accord ex, how do you reset the ecu or SRS light?I read the sticky but didnt understand the following part, "jump the SRS ( MES) connector ( MES = Memory Erase Signal ,) using the scs connector or paper clip". How do you do this? The SRS light is on which i believe is due to a bad buckle that i will be replacing.

Thanks

It means, very simply, put the connector/paper clipinto the terminals of the plug.

Wouldnt that be covered by warranty? Seatbelts & airbags have a much longer warranty than the main bumper-to-bumper warranty.

RE: Reset ECU or SRS Light?

i had this problem with my 96 accord and I took it to a honda specialist, he plugged his little hand held code reader into the terminal under the ashtray, 30 seconds and $20 later the light was off. Not sure if that holds true with newer hondas, but some things dont change.
Hope that helps.

My 2000 had a buckle replaced for free.
