Reset TRIP A on refuel

Reset TRIP A on refuel
hi guys
first off, "hullo" :-) This is my first ever Honda and I am uber-excited! picked up my 2009 Accord 2.4 EXEC A/T yesterday. absolutely LOVING it!!
anyways, i was playing around with config yesterday. Found the option for "RESET TRIP A ON REFUEL" and enabled that. This morning, I stopped at garage and filled up tank. But i noticed that TRIP A did not get changed in anyways. Did i do something wrong? what am i missing ?
