Smile Road noise

I just bought a new 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6. It has lot of road noise. I am shocked. I test drove a different vehicle which was very quite with literally no road noise. This vehicle was ordered from other dealership and came in later. Anyone has any suggestion. I will appreciate it.

See if the 2 vehicles you drove have different tires.

+1m I don't know the sound, but yes the tires are usually the problem. If not then it is off to the dealer to have the issue resolved ...or end up calling regional complaint office.

That's why you should always test drive the car you are buying, before signing. Could be as simple as different brand of tires, but maybe not.

One other possibility is noise canceling feature. The Accords have a Noise canceling feature which listens for noise. Then generates in real time a 180 degree opposite phase and volume to cancel out noise. Maybe this is not working?

My vote is the tires, also. My '17 came with Firestones and they're pretty loud on most roads, and only go quiet on newly paved black top.

Accords are noisy it's just the way it is tires may help some not really sure why another of the same care would be so much quieter. I've replaced tires in a 2009 V6 and honestly found very little to no difference. Don't expect another brand to make it run like a Mercedes I don't think they will just my .02
If you do find another tire makes a world of difference please report back on what you got. I'm thinking the dealer will tell you that's the "sport feel/performance" of the vehicle. Maybe more/better trunk lining???

By design these cars have always had a lot of noise. I noticed it and lined my floor board with sound deadening foam and I also put different tires on which helped. Would I pay for someone else to line my floor no because no matter what you do you will still have noise in an accord.
