SAFE TO BOOST AN F22??????

i have a 1990 ex 4 door. was sondering if i should replace the motor before boosting. 8psi? if anyone has turboed an f22 let me know so i can ask a couple of questions.

Is the F22 you speak of the same F22 in the S2000?
